    Arial sucks
    [12:00 am]

What font type should I use on my pages? This is a very common question among web designers. I used Arial a lot, but after having read the scourage of Arial, I started to dislike it. Now I prefer Verdana. It is the most popular font type on PC as well as MAC operative systems according to WebType.org Typeface Survey.

    Going standard compliant
    [12:00 am]

A couple of days ago (better late then never) I came up with the idea that my pages should validate to HTML 4.1 Transitional (or later XHTML 1.0 Transitional). Let's move towards Standard on the Web!

I'm going to hack around here at sashaDesign.com to meet this goal. Our (in progress . . .) corporate page is illegal markup free.

    We Will
    [12:00 am]

The justice of piece: "Will you, Sasa, take Sofia to be your lawful wedded wife, to love and to cherish, to honor and to respect, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to have and to hold from this day forward as long as you both shall live?"

    Sasa: "I will."

    document.lastModified
    [12:00 am]

Sleepy Saturday morning, how I love that!

    A tip for today:
If you want to know when a Web page was last modified, go to the page and then type the following bit of JavaScript into the location field of your browser. Hit enter and a window will pop open displaying the date the page was last uploaded. Note: this will only work on pages that don't use JavaScript.

    javascript:alert(document.lastModified)

    Don't drink and . . . pee!
    [12:00 am]

An intoxicated German beer drinker, who urinated on the leg of a female student in the middle of a crowded Oktoberfest beer tent, was fined $600 US by a Munich court on Wednesday. The 22-tear-old man told the court he had drunk two litres of beer and suddenly "felt an urgent need to relieve himself."

One more reason for me to switch to wine! Cheers.

    Busy, busy, busy
    [12:00 am]

Work, mid-term exams, . . . and my new computer. I'm still having troubles with the proper configuration. Everything works perfectly, but for some reason once or twice a day my system stops responding. And I still cannot figure out why :-(. Positive side of the story - I'm getting better at my hardware knowledge.

I wish the day were at least 30 hours long.

    Asylum Ring
    [12:00 am]

I became a proud member of the ring around the asylum.
This is an email from the living legend.

Looks beautiful Sash, I like this concept, it's fun to have an excuse to visit some of these sites I don't get to too often. (Your's is beautiful, BTW.)
    Thanks!

    Microsoft Interview
    [12:00 am]

Microsoft interview is very different than the standard interview. You won't be asked any of those questions like, "What is your greatest weakness," or, "Where do you want to be in five years?" Rather, a Microsoft interview typically contains a number of brain teasers and coding questions. Read interview questions.
