4 Years Anniversary
[09:13 am]

4 Years ago, Sasha stepped on Canadian soil for the first time! I always remember this day. After all, it's not an everyday thing to move from one continent to another.

Opera 7 for Windows Final released. It might be something temporary, but I don't see the banner. I downloaded it from the US location.

The Unseen Gulf War pictures are worth thousand words.
Not for everybody's taste though!

War is at best a necessary evil, and I am certain that anyone that feels differently has never experienced or been in it.

Give peace a chance!

I often use » (or «) in order to get nice arrows in HTML (», «).
I searched for it at Google earlier today (I wanted to paste it into Photoshop, and that was the easiest way for me to find this character right away . . .), and came across an amazing site. I spent at least a minute starring at it. The site even validates!

I am currently taking a course in mathematics, "Introduction to Logic for Computer Scientists". An excerpt from the book follows. Tell me, does this have anything to do with logic? Is logic something that is supposed to drive you crazy?
A certain island is inhabited by people who either always tell the truth or always lie and who respond to questions with a yes or a no. A tourist comes to a fork in the road, where one branch leads to a restaurant and the other does not. There is no sign indicating which branch to take, but there is an islander standing at the fork. What single yes/no question can the tourist ask to find the way to the restaurant?

I set my personal record today by playing chess online for about 10 hours, from 1 am to 11 am! I only played against one guy. We played around 300 two-minute games! I feel odd when I say "Good night" and "Good morning" to Sofia without moving away from my computer.

I used this feature at the beginning when it was something new, and started to hate it afterwards. I still do.

Google loves me. Googlebot visits me this often, once in a month, and that always happens just a few days after the Google Update.

In case you wonder, this is a screen shot of a little tool I wrote a couple of months ago, which gives me some statistics. The functionality is similar to the Refs page, but with more info about the visitor.
