It's been three weeks already!

Some of the things Mateo's daddy has learned in the last 3 weeks:
- change a diaper with mustard-like contents
- code while changing a diaper with mustard-like contents
- handle loud screaming cries
- code while handling loud screaming cries
- all ins and outs of breastfeeding
- buy the right diaper
- what is the doctor-recommended position for sleeping babies
- what is the best burping position
- cope with the lack of sleep (admittedly, mom knows this much better than dad)
- find his way around the baby department
- adore this little head of hair!

Home with our little bundle

We're home with our beloved little boy. Thank you for all the lovely comments and warm wishes. Daddy (how strange does that sound?) will soon create Mateo's own sashadesign.com space, but in the mean time here is another pic of Mateo at 5 days old.

It's a boy!

No, it is not a fools day joke! Sofia and I got a baby boy! Mateo was born on March 31, 2005 at 1:42am as a healthy baby. Doctors decided to do a c-section, and mom is recuperating very well.
Mateo was in a special nursery care for about a day, but they already threw him out of there, because they found out that he was flirting with some baby girls. He is now with his mom receiving his first breastfeeding lessons.
