What will Toronto look like over the next 50 years?

A rather bleak and scary picture of Toronto's future was presented in today's Toronto Star article.
T.O. 2050: Bad weather ahead Unless we seriously put the brakes on greenhouse gas emissions, in a few decades this city will be beset by long stretches of extreme heat, drought, freak storms and flash floods.
Although some scientists believe that the greenhouse effect is a myth, I am more inclined to believe the other side.

Web Developers and Browser Vendors Shape HTML Future

W3C is pleased to invite participation in the new HTML Working Group, chartered to create the next HTML standard with the active participation of browser vendors, software developers, and content designers. "It's time to revisit the standard and see what we can do to meet the current community needs, and to do so effectively with commitments from browser manufacturers in a visible and open way," said Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director.
