What do you usually do when you wish to send a URL to a friend, but the URL is soooooo long that the friend's email program inevitably breaks it into two or three lines?
On many message boards out there you can see:
"If the above URL breaks into two lines, you may have to reassemble it in the location window of your browser. Sorry."
TinyURL is a great service that will, as they say, "shorten that long URL into a Tiny URL".
Please note: I updated this old post. Previously it was pointing to another service Make A Shorter Link, which, meanwhile, doesn't accept new links anymore, due to abuse by spammers.
