Enter the European Mozilla Evangelism Contest Spring 2002 and win a T-shirt !
In Europe, many sites are using "Tag soup" (incorrect/invalid HTML, DOM/JavaScript and CSS markup) that prevent modern, standards compliant web browsers such as Mozilla to render these web pages correctly, even though some other older browsers may still render them correctly.
To pave the road to success for our beloved browser family (Mozilla and other Netscape Gecko based user agents), we need to make sure that the average user has a nice experience with his/her browser of choice. Therefore, tracking web sites that use bad markup, or pages that render incorrectly in Mozilla, diagnosing the issue and contacting the webmaster to suggest a fix, will make life easier for the average Mozilla user in the future. This is what we call Evangelism.
