I am without my monitor until the next week, maybe more. It just burned. I have to use my old Intel Celeron 333 MHz for a while because my old monitor does not work on the new computer :-( Shit happens.

I don't understand this, are you missing a driver for the old monitor or you can not have previous resolution on the old monitor?

Well, it is ok now. At least that part. I use the same computer but the monitor is old. My eyes hurt.
Yes, I couldn't have the resolution I had, so when I booted, the old monitor went black. Afterwards, stupid me realized I can boot in VGA mode and change the settings :-)
