We enjoyed our weekend at Lafontaine Camping. I have never spent a night outside of Toronto, since I came to Canada, 3.5 years ago. This was the first time! When living in Canada, it is a great experience to have a direct contact with nature from time to time. Luckily, bears are not present in the area. We only saw raccoons around our tent, creatures totally unknown to an average European. They are really cute and it is too bad we didn't take pictures of them. The best part of our trip was sitting around the fire pit and drinking beer!

Yeah you think those raccoons are cute now but wait until you mistakenly leave out some food one night. Or even some trash. During one camping trip we took a rope and suspended our trash bag from a tree limb at night. It was several feet off the ground but they still managed to get into it--from the bottom. I swear they had to have stood on each other's shoulders.
