If the sun was going to explode, would they tell us?
Surely they'd take the line that it was better for knowone to know, so as not to cause panic.
Personally I'd like to know, I don't like wasting my time, and I'd make sure I squashed as much as I could in to whatever time is left, I'd run as much debt as possible haveing great time.

I wouldn't take it too seriously - the Weekly World News is a supermarket tabloid. Typical headline: "Experts conclude: Elvis is really Jesus Christ!" and "Joan Rivers Pregnant with Fidel Castro's Illegitimate Child!" ...

I dont think they'd tell us at all, however it's be pretty hard to keep quiet as i suspect it'd be something amateur astronomers would pick up sooner or later. So 6 years then.. Thats a lot of debt you can run up :)
