Domain name sashaDesign.com renewed today. I use register.com and I have never had complains about them, except of the price maybe. However, as it looks like, there are some good and cheap domain registrars out there. First of all, I don't understand the deal. Why are are they cheaper? An example is GoDaddy. I heard, they provide a very reliable and cheap service. I am not a person who likes changes. Even to switch from ASP to PHP took me so long :o)

I work for a company that does domain name registration, and I think I can answer this for you. Beware of "cheap" deals - many times, the "$9.95 Domain Names!" come-on only applies in bulk - if you're transferring or registering 100 domains or more. In other cases, it means that you'll pay less for the domain name and receive less service or less options in the process. Our company offers domain names at $15 each (com/net/org) to start, and have a sliding scale for bulk registrations/transfers. Our service is top-notch, and we tout that with each sale. We make, on average, about $2.00 per name.

Bob, how much would be for registering .ca domain name?

Thx ;-)

Err... we're currently not registering .ca domain names. We're working on upgrading our registration process to work better with TuCow's API. Once that's done, we should be able to register .ca names. Sorry!! :-(
