Did you know that if I type in a KEYWORD using the Netscape, or Explorer browser I could be immediately sent to YOUR WEB SITE! I would not get a long list of companies to choose from, I would be connected directly to your website! Our technology can do this for you. Type in pizza on your browser and you'll get the Pizza Hut Web Site. Type in the word, credit and you ll get the Master Card web site. This is our technology at work! Would you like to explore the possibilities for your web site? If so, please call me before someone else gets the word or phrase that's best for your business!!
If they could do that as easily as they promise, their name would probably be Microsoft and not FirstPhrase(.com). The catch is, the only people who would visit your site are those who have their "plugin" installed and their browsers hijacked, as somebody explained it already.
By the way, typing Pizza in the address bar didn't work for me, I always get MSN results. I didn't bother looking in my browser setup, because I use Google Toolbar, which is now available for Mozilla users as well.
Well, let's mention Pizza for the third time today. Don't you find this pathetic?

What I find annoying is Phoenix forwarding me to localhost.com.au after I type "localhost" and press enter. It first goes to Google and then this AU site. Any way to disable that?

I didn't find a way to disable internet keywords in Phoenix. Just type http://localhost , dammit!

Thanks Davor.
Sasha, just add this line to "user.js" file (if it doesn't exist create it)
pref("keyword.enabled", false);
file should be located in
\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Phoenix\Profiles\default\abcdefg
folder.
Another nice trick, add this line:
user_pref("network.http.sendRefererHeader",0);
phoenix then allows you to click links to images even if server disabled hot linking.. you know, for all those.. educational purposes ;o)
