Lately » Apache, PHP and MySQL
How did you get in here? I know there are many strange ways how people drop by this place but this one made me laugh today.
I had a little bit more time this weekend so that I finally got Apache, PHP and mySQL working together on my local machine. Pretty neat stuff! I know Linux is supposed to be better for that purpose, but I use win2000 :-). One thing I've noticed so far comparing PHP with ASP is that support for connecting to DB is built right into PHP. Less coding I guess. The tutorial on mySQL.com web site helped me a lot to grasp the concept.
