I've got these two babies that I've downloaded after several hours of digging through various NASA ftp sites and googling around...
Western Hemisphere 21,600 by 21,600 pixels (1km) (240 MB TIFF) [land_shallow_topo_west.tif.tiff]
Eastern Hemisphere 21,600 by 21,600 pixels (1km) (400 MB TIFF) [land_shallow_topo_east.tif.tiff]
I've downloaded them sbout a year ago so I cannot tell you where to find them anymore.
Also, if you find 'ev251_tokyo.jpg' (55,6 MB) be sure to download it too, it is amazing sattelite picture of Tokyo.

Hi Flatline. I have downloaded those files quite a long time ago and the western hemishphere got corrupted. If you have found it somewhere I would be glad to here of it :)
The tokyo satellite photo is great, indeed, all the golf courts in the middle of the city :)
