Lately » Canada Day and Greek Party
Yesterday was Canada Day, Canada's 137th birthday. We enjoyed a very nice day and took a trip on the ferry to the Toronto Island. From the island one can have a breathtaking view to the skyline of Toronto. A perfect place to take pictures!
Party didn't stop there. After Greece beat the Czech Republic 1-0 in extra time at the Euro 2004 tournament, red colour turned blue and everything looked rather like Greek Day. We live very close to the Greek Village area in Toronto and could see soccer fans flood the Danforth yesterday.
I am happy for them, but I guess, you all know who I am cheering for on Sunday.
