HTML Dog's CSS Properties contains information about all of the valid properties belonging to the CSS 2.1 standard.

I find http://devedge.netscape.com/toolbox/sid...isual.html to be more than sufficient: it's the entire property list boiled down and easy to read, linking directly to the latest draft of CSS 2.1, so there's no lack of detail.

Were HTML Dog's resource to contain things the specification did not (such as comprehensive compatibility notes---beyond just saying that something doesn't work in IE (which IE?)), maybe then it would be useful, but it doesn't even contain all relevant information like what kind of elements or pseudo-elements a property applies to.

Granted, there are the guides it links to, but in the first one I looked at (colours), the text erroneously stated that 'transparent' is a valid colour when in fact it is not. 'transparent' is a separate keyword and is not a part of the colour value-group. Also, it would seem to me that a hyperlink to the normative definition of each property would be helpful for those willing to get their feet wet---or just wanting to glean some supplementary information.

As it stands the DevEdge sidebar is preferrable for me.
