Lately » Flash Intros
The 36th Chess Olympiad website has a Flash intro that irritates me. We all know that Flash intros are bad and should go to hell, but as it looks like they still survive. Why is that so? I believe that stubborn customers and bosses who insist on this "cool feature" are the guilty ones, not the designers. In my previous company we had a client who badly wanted an intro on her company's website. We were unsuccessful in our attempts to move her away from that idea. And, it didn't stop there! She even wanted to remove the "skip intro" link we created, to make sure that everybody who comes to her site sees the Flash intro without skipping. Needless to say how pointless the intro was, but we did it, and the site was done. A few weeks later, she asked us to put a "skip intro" link, because she couldn't wait for so long every time she comes to the site. A few weeks later, she asked us to remove the intro.

You're rite. I hate flash intro! When I see one, I close my browser's window immediately.
Here, in Bosnia, every single client asks for the same thing as your client did.

Sasha more "real sport" if you would spend 1.5 hours every day (one chess game) in the park, running, bycicling or doing what ever would benefit you and your future children alot more then sitting on the balls. Sorry for bad English.
